Like many college students, Matt was unsure of what it was exactly that he wanted to do when he enrolled at Mount Union College.  Beginning his college career as an education major, Matt quickly learned that his true passion was to both educate, as well as impact individuals.  After developing a unique interest in finance, Matt switched to a double major in finance and accounting.  However, his true passion still remained in educating and impacting individuals.  The goal and dream was to find a career which combined each of Matt's passions and strengths.  Matt found his once in a lifetime opportunity to live that dream when he discovered Northwestern Mutual's intership program which has been ranked as "America's Top 10 Interships" Vault Guide to Top Internships, 2009

Matt came to Northwestern through the college internship program during his junior year at Mount Union which gave Matt the great opportunity to really give the career a test drive.  Having a background in both Finance and Accounting, there were numerous options that were laid out on the table at graduation, however, Northwestern Mutual was the only company that he knew could allow him the greatest opportunity to educate and impact individuals on a day to day basis.

Now, with the independence, flexibility, and relationships Matt has developed in building his practice, Matt has had the opportunity and privilege to positively impact his clients' personal, professional, and financial lives along with the community in which he resides.
